Giovanni 'Long John' Franceschi

The Inventor and the person responsible for the NUOTO+ project (and of all its versions and evolutions) is Giovanni 'Long John' Franceschi, many times swimming champion. In the ’80 Giovanni has won two gold medals (200m and 400m individual medley) at the European Championships, has broken two Continental records and 22 National records and won 41 times at the Italian Championships in 50m-100m-200m-400m freestyle, 100m-200m back, 100m fly, 200m-400m medley).
